Obi-Wan Kenobi Trilogy In The Works?

Not a new rumor but another site is now weighing in on this notion.

For a while, there have been rumors of Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the "Star Wars" prequels, will return to his iconic role again for a sequel-ish trilogy and now it seems like that Schomes Know is reporting that Disney is currently in talks with McGregor to return as part of the new "Star Wars: Anthology" series.

It's said that this new Kenobi trilogy would take place after the prequel trilogy and before the original trilogy to bridge the gap between the two storylines as he watches over the young Luke Skywalker. There are also rumors circulating that characters like Owen Lars and Darth Maul would return. Darth Maul? Now this is awfully strange because he did indeed die in the "Clone Wars" animated series, which I do believe it still canon, so how would Maul come back?

This is all just speculation as of now but I'd love to see an Obi-Wan trilogy starring Ewan McGregor. Despite the prequels' horrible script, McGregor shined above the rest and gave respect and dignity to the role. I'd love to see him return if this is indeed real.
