Ladies and gents, your new Lara Croft.
It has been officially announced that Alicia Vikander, who recently won Best Supporting Actress for her work in "The Danish Girl", is now officially our new Lara Croft in the upcoming "Tomb Raider" reboot. The other name on the shortlist of actresses to play the iconic video game character was Daisy Ridley of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".
The video game film reboot will be directed Roar Uthaug and will reportedly act as the origin story for Lara Croft as we join her on some of her first adventures.
