A win for journalism and a win for all the victims who were molested by priests.
A big congratulations to the cast and crew of "Spotlight" for winning Best Picture tonight at The Academy Awards. Yes, "Mad Max: Fury Road", in my opinion, deserves the win the most out of the 8 nominated films, but "Spotlight" is a truly important work of cinema that will transcend time and shines a light on a horrific and just inhumane actions that are happening in the world, even today. The bravery of these journalists is extraordinary and deserves to be recognized.
Congrats for taking home the gold.
