The kajius and Jaegers are coming back!
Many of us were severely disappointed when we heard that production of the "Pacific Rim" sequel was stopped indefinitely by the studio and didn't seem to progress any further with original director Guillermo del Toro. But now, Deadline is reporting that Steven S. DeKnight (the showrunner of "Marvel's Daredevil") will be directing the sequel, making his directorial film debut, while del Toro will stay on as producer. Nothing about the cast has been mentioned and there is no official release date set for the film, but it is comforting to see that "Pacific Rim 2" is moving forward in production.
Our hopes and cheers were heard and "Pacific Rim" still holds life!
