Get ready for the next era the "X-Men" franchise will tackle.
After confirming that the third solo Wolverine film is going to be rated-R, producer Simon Kinberg has told ComingSoon that the next film in the "X-Men" franchise will be set in the 90's. Following the trend that "X-Men: First Class" started, the next installment in the series will take place in a new decade of our history, which will be very interesting when considering that "X-Men: The Animated Series" debuted in 1992. Will there be a correlation in costume design or characters like the 90's cartoon? Only time will tell.
What do you think of the next "X-Men" film set in the 90's?
