The age of Apocalypse is coming.
2016 is already jam-packed with highly anticipated superhero films, including "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice", "Captain America: Civil War", "Deadpool" and "Suicide Squad", and now 20th Century Fox is here to throw their name into the mix will be something colossal.
Teased in last year's, "X-Men: Days of Future Past", Bryan Singer returns to the "X-Men" franchise for the 4th time to bring the story of Apocalypse, the first mutant in human history, to the silver screen. "X-Men Apocalypse" continues where "X-Men: Days of Future Past" left off with the young cast that we've grown to known and love, first seen in 2011's "X-Men: First Class". While none of the original cast members (i.e. Hugh Jackman, Patrick Steward, Ian McKellen) return in this trailer, the focus on the younger cast looks promising and refreshingly new. The action set pieces look stunning with amazing visual effects shots and a tease at another Quicksilver scene.
It looks like Bryan Singer is going to knock this out of the park, despite fans not loving the Apocalypse design at first.
